The Expedition Packs are backpack style carrying packs for the Yaesu FT 817, the LDG Z100 Auto Tuner, Tokyo HyPower HL 50B AMP or similar sized equipment and the MP-1 or MP-2 or other collapsible or wire antenna systems. There are large web patches on each side that allow attachment of the Ventenna HFp with the new Backpack Mount. The lower section securely holds an external battery pack. The lower section has velcro straps that will accommodate  gel cells, lithium ion or LiPo battery packs. You can configure your battery packs according to your individual taste. There are two large zippered pockets that can hold Maldol, Walkabout ATX,PAC-12 antennas, whips, adapters, NOMIC, cables, etc.
Expedition Trail Pack $109.99
The Expedition Trail Pack is a top loading daypack. It has a large compartment with an interiror padded compartment that will hold the Yaesu FT 897 with the Yaesu or W4RT Auto Tuner. The ICOM 703, 706, 7000 or 7200 can also be carried. There are several compartments on the large section including two zippered openings on the lid which allow microphone or antennas to feed through the lid. There is a large compartment at the bottom of the pack that can accommodate a battery, cables or other accessories.  There is a small pack which "piggy backs" on the back of the larger pack. This has a special pocket designed exclusively for the Yaesu FT 817 which will allow operation inside the smaller pack. This small pack converts to a fanny pack. The new Expedition Trail Pack has a pocket between the large and small pack that allows placement of a water bladder such as a Camel Back Hydration system (not included).
